With its cast-iron bed and componentry, the Baumr-AG 7″ x 14″ lathe is a powerful, heavy-duty machine. This tiny metal lathe, with high and low gears and endlessly changeable speeds up to 3000rpm, makes quick work of drilling, cutting, threading, and turning. It can also function at all speeds in reverse, allowing for left-hand threading. With 600W of power and adjustable powered, you’ll have no trouble producing tiny components, threaded parts, fittings, and dies from brass, bronze, aluminium, and steel.
It boasts a fully featured carriage, beautifully machined ways, a self-centring 3-jaw chuck, an MT3 spindle taper, an MT2 tailstock taper, and a thread range of 0.4-2.0mm (10 thread pitches). The 5/16-inch capacity tool post can hold up to four cutting tools at once, allowing for quick tool swaps in the middle of a project. For maximum safety, the Baumr-AG includes a chip tray, splash shield, and an emergency stop button. It also features a digital LCD monitor for displaying the current RPM.
